Great people, and atmosphere/location, but the pricing is just ridiculous sadly. I typically go in for a “long hair cut” cus I have very long hair but I typically only get about an inch at most 2 off the ends for the dead ends clean up and a mustache trim. Last night I went in for the same with a different barber than usual (already was worried cus I’m a creature of habit and tend to regret trying new stuff) went and got the usual cut except I added on a “beard trim” this time all I really had done tho was the edges were lined up and my mustache was blended along with my sideburns all in all the cut probably didn’t take more than 20 minutes and that’s cus the guy was so busy chatting my head off about his political beliefs which I had 0 interest in. End of cut I end up being charged 75$ (before tip) for my usual 55$ hair cut because I decided to have my beard lined up 💀 again great owners/place but I just can’t with the prices yall know people are struggling lol it’s not like yall give some “boutique experience” to charge that much. Feels bad, sad man. If you can afford it tho go crazy it’s really a 40-50$ cut max.

I grew my hair out and lightened it for an acting role and needed to shorten it for another role. I made an appointment with Mateo and got exactly what I needed, and he even recommended the purple shampoo that I bought after my haircut to blend my color. Such a good dude and was a pleasure chatting with him. I’ll be back to see him!

Xavier gave me one of the best cuts I probably ever had . I’ve always wanted to keep my curls with a low taper and it seems I always got a buzz cut no matter where I went . Great cut , service and great guy

I've come here quite a few times now, usually because my go-to barber is closed on Sundays. Once I'm seated for my haircut, it is a great experience - usually nice staff and a good cut! But every single time I come here I end up having to wait for 15-30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time to be seen. It is really frustrating for a business to consistently treat your time like this, and it is every single time! It's a shame because the environment, staff, and cut is nice - but this really ruins the whole experience and I always leave a bit frustrated. For the record, every time I've been here I've gotten an appointment, and not once have I been seen within 15 minutes of that appointment time! As I'm writing this I'm sitting in the waiting area, 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment.

Mateo has been my go to guy for the last few months, and I am so stoked I found him. Not only does he do a killer cut for me each and every time- but he is also a joy to spend that 30-45 minutes with. I looked long and hard for a barber I actually enjoyed going to see- and highly recommend Mateo to all my local friends!

I’ve been coming here for a year now after I moved to Long Beach and needed a new stylist. I love the atmosphere and the people who work here are all really nice. I get my haircut by the manager, Rosie, and the assistant manager, Cheyanne- both do a great job with my short cut every time. Oh, and I recommend the hot neck shave 💯

I understand that everyone starts somewhere, i remember, i am also a barber, but if im going to pay $50 for a haircut, it better be crispy. Mar sounded like she knew what she was doing but her skill did not match. I gave Mar simple directions and she even got a little defensive when i tried to help her so i gave up and let her do her thing and unfortunately she butchered my hair bad. I came back to get it fixed and asked for someone with more experience, they introduced me to Nicole and she also did not know how to cut my curly hair. I was left uneven on all sides, even the back. Im a barber and i care about this industry. I dont think this company cares about the customer if they hire people who cant cut hair. Im not angry, just dissapointed. Wish i could give negative stars, google get on it. Avoid this company. Take care.

My hair got absolutely maimed here; not coming back. Nice people tho so there’s that. For the photo, this is just one angle. Every side of my head was messed up at this barber. It’s embarrassing to post pics of other aspects of my hair that are gross after this place, but trust me it’s worse than just this.

I can’t say enough good things about this barber shop. It’s genuinely one of the most welcoming, queer-friendly, and judgment-free spaces I’ve ever been in. Everyone is kind and professional, and they’ve created a vibe that’s warm, relaxed, and inclusive. Cheyenne is my barber, and she’s amazing. It honestly feels like going to see a friend who just happens to be incredible at cutting hair. She listens, pays attention to the details, and makes every appointment easy and fun. They’re also super sweet with my son when I bring him along. It means a lot to be in a place where my whole family feels comfortable. Highly recommend!

I’ve been getting my haircut by Rosie for years now and I’ve never been disappointed! She does a great job and has great recommendations. She’s also great with kids and has been cutting my son’s hair since he was one year old 😊 (Photos are from different times I’ve gone to her and always a great outcome)
