I came in asking for a low fade, but unfortunately that’s not what I received. The haircut wasn’t what I requested, which was disappointing. The barber was polite, but better communication and attention to what the customer asks for would really help.

I do not recommend smells like smoke inside and the older woman ( I didn’t get her name) is rough on kids with her nails.. my sons hairline is also messed up.. do not recommend

This is my personal opinion based on my recent experience. Point blank one of the worst haircuts I’ve received in recent memory. First, there was a clear communication barrier and I should have bailed when it was clear the gentleman didn’t speak English. My haircut is pretty straightforward- fade on the side and trimmed/blended in on top. He didn’t understand and had to get the interpretation of another barber and still proceeded to mess it up. It was not blended in and unevenly trimmed on top. I will have to go to another shop to get it fixed. I perhaps could be more understanding if it was a $15 haircut but $35 for this? Come on. Very disappointing and will not be back.

I was shopping in the area and returned to this barber shop - and I'm glad I did :) because they did very well. Reno is a great guy -- don't hesitate to talk to him and tell him exactly how you would like your haircut - he is a hard worker, doesn't mind going the extra mile ; I appreciate the effort, thank you so much.

This place is a joke they messed up my brother BAD the line up is slanted the back is uneven and the design is horribleeeee. They were smoking and drinking on the job and tried to blame it on him for asking for the design. Messed all 3 of my brothers haircuts. If I could give this 0 stars I would.

What can I say about this wonderful barbershop. I have been going to Mrs. Martinez’s barbershop since as long as I can remember. I remember when I was a high school freshman I was first introduced to Martinez Barbershop. My dad and I were looking for a good barber to cut our heads since we left living on the base at Edwards AFB. So, when I was attending Lancaster High I found a barber that was close by our house that we didn’t have to go far. Since 2004, I knew Mrs. Martinez and her team for the longest time and my dad and I have been going ever since and we are and still very loyal customers to Martinez Barbershop and we don’t go to any other barber in town except for Martinez Barbershop. Juanita and I have gain respect for one another and she has become more like a family since her commitment and my loyalty to her business that she has treated me like if I was her son. In 2015 my dad has passed but I still go. Martinez Barbershop shows me that the business is really family oriented and she treats everyone the same with compassion, love, loyalty, and respect. I am blessed to continue going to Martinez Barbershop as long as she is still in business. And when I have children my children will be going to Martinez Barbershop because is very loving when she cuts kids hair.

I realized that I needed a last-minute haircut and clean up for my beard. I called other shops and they were closing soon, so I called Martinez Barber Shop 💈. With a warm greeting and a welcoming voice, they assured me that if I arrived in the next 5 minutes then they could attend to me immediately. Dicho y hecho! ✅ (Said & done!) As soon as I entered the door, I was greeted with a smile by several barbers who are clearly happy to use their expertise to serve their customers. They were busy AND attentive, modeling how successful shops should run. 💰 Jamie asked me how I wanted my cut and I explained. She did an INCREDIBLE job and had me out in less than 25 minutes! I am 💯 pleased with her work and my experience there! 💪🏽 💯 Service-minded 💯 Customer satisfaction 💯 Efficient & welcoming conversation 💯 Hygiene & top-notch equipment I HIGHLY recommend @Martinez Barber Shop 💈and am proud to support this Woman-owned local small business! 👩 Thanks, Jamie! 😊

I love my girl Jessica, she really hooks my hair up. I love my shirt hair and she is my go-to. My boys see some of the other barbers here but everyone is amazing! Very professional and even when they are crowded, they move quickly. Thank you!

I got one of the worst haircuts of my life here. I have long hair and the stylist cut a half inch chunk out of my line. When I took my hair down a significant amount of 7 inch long hair fell out. Hair was tied up too, how basic can it get. Neck was squared off awkwardly low too. Would not recommend this shop (or at least the woman who did this cut) to anyone

I’m new to the area and tried a few other barbers in town. I’m very particular about my haircut, and although I’d like to think I’m not picky about it, deep down I know I am. Called the place and they were very polite about info over the phone. Wait time wasn’t too long as I expected to be on a Saturday after 5. Even after I got there I asked a young guy that was a regular about the haircut quality. He mentioned that Jonathan was the one he got his haircuts from. I waited for Jonathan to become available. Although he was a bit quiet he engaged in conversation. I was a bit worried at first because he was quite fast on the haircut it seemed like. I even waited a day to post this review because I told him I would either good or bad. I waited for a second opinion on the quality of the haircut. He did exactly as I asked, medium fade, short on the top, And cut to where I comb my hair so it looks natural. An overall five out of five for this visit. I recommend Jonathan specifically, and in the near future I can maybe start exploring the possibility of trying another barber in this barbershop. Good job Jonathan and thank you for the great cut.
