Been going for a couple years now and always ask for Rissa. Never had a cement barber but after seeing Rissa's work, I couldn't imagine going to someone else. Great talk and even greater haircut!

I had Rissa assist me! She WAS AMAZING! she’s full of so much joy and keeps the haircuts engaging! she’s also very experienced and made sure i had the best haircut and experience overall…I highly highly highly recommend floyd’s on barranca and especially RISSA!

Can't speak highly enough about Courtney. She's like a hair scientist and worked around my hair system / wig with great thought and care. Explained everything as she went and just seemed to really care. Warm and affirming vibe. If I lived here I'd come here exclusively and happily pay double.

Very disappointed with my visit on Monday, December 22, 2025 at 4:30 PM. The haircut was done roughly and carelessly. The barber was pulling and yanking my hair, which made the entire experience very uncomfortable and unpleasant. What really shocked me is that my hair wasn’t even dried after the haircut, which is completely unprofessional for a barbershop. The service felt rushed, with no attention or care for the customer. For the price I paid, I expected basic professionalism and respect, but I didn’t receive that. I will not be coming back and do not recommend this place.

What an amazing barbershop. The Stylist was awesome, I brought my 4yr son along during my appointment and she made sure he was comfortable. She even gave him a lollipop 🍭

Rissa cut my hair this time and she was fantastic! Great conversation, I showed her what I wanted and explained why and she did exactly that. Highly recommend her to anyone.

Brought my five-year-old son in for a haircut. He is autistic and haircuts can be challenging, but over the years we’ve had many patient, kind, and experienced stylists who have done a wonderful job with him. Unfortunately, this visit was different. Deb seemed visibly frustrated and repeatedly said, “I can’t do this.” We ended up leaving with a partially finished haircut. We completely understand that working with children with special needs takes extra patience and skill, but we hope that in the future the salon provides additional training and support so that all kids—especially those with sensory or developmental differences—can have a positive experience.
