If be honest I don’t understand why they has 4.4 rating on google maps. The young Mexican guy who was making me the haircut seems like beginner and was learning on my hair!! He cut with a dangerous blade without any cream, so he tored off some skin, hopefully it will gone in a week!!! The price of haircut was 35$, after I started looking at my hair he blushed, so I gave him extra 15$, just not to see how he will start shaking. I decided to visit this place for first time and don’t come here anymore!

Every barber is a master of their craft, you can’t go wrong with any of them. As soon as you walk through the door, you’re welcomed by 5-7 friendly barbers as if you were walking right into their home. They accept both walk-ins and appointments. The prices are reasonable, they range from $25-$30 per cut, depending on the intricacy of the cut. The wait is rather short, from 10-15 minutes, especially for how busy it gets.

If your black do not go here. They use to be really diverse but now they only have Hispanic barbers who are not familiar with cutting African American hair. They say they do but they don’t. I’ve had enough finally done going here after My last haircut, went here last week to get cut and the barber was super cool we had a great conversation but the cut was terrible. The taper was not blended what so ever and he pushed my hairline back almost an inch. My hairline was perfect before going here I just can’t understand how you push back a perfect hairline. He lined me up like I was a Hispanic I’ll never be going back here for a cut. IF YOURE BLACK DONT GO HERE. Take a look at the pictures. How do you push that back so far

I have been going here for 2 years now. Initially I had a barber who was great at the haircut I get; natural side part, high fade with a pomp. He understood my hair type: thick and curly. After he left, I went through almost every barber there and none knew how to do a classic comb over cut and each of them always wanted to give me a hard side part. I always ask to have it heavy on the side part as my hair sticks up if it’s too short but they always cut it too short. Long story short, I’m done trying with this place, I need to find a good barber who knows how to cut side parts.

i’ve been cutting my hair at the Lounge for a few years now. Jeff the owner it’s really professional, friendly and respectful. Liz its the girl who’s been cutting my hair since then. she’s really friendly and takes good care of you, giving importance to details. i would recommend her.

I never doubt them an I always end up coming here every year when my hair is fully grown out. always amazed an very satisfied when I leave the shop!

I did have to wait a while but that's because the barber shop is so popular and each of the barbers takes time to give the client a great haircut and talk with their clients. I would recommend setting up an appointment with anyone in the shop before you go in. They're great at keeping their appointment times, some barbers in the shop even finish up their last cut and wait to take another client if its 15-20 minutes before any appointment that they have set up. They treat everyone with respect, you pay for what you get (an amazing haircut regardless of what chair you go to), and they make you feel at home. Most other barber shops in the area focus on in and out, not caring about how the haircut looks, ive been going to this place since it has opened, and the service has only gotten better. I would definitely say that this is hands down one of the best barber shops around, definitely the best barber shop in the Inglewood.

I've been coming here for about 2 years and every barber here has amazing talent. The friendliness, hard work, and even the music creates an ambiance that makes you want to come back. I've enjoyed every visit and the owner Jeff has been giving me fresh cuts every time with no fail. If you're in the Inglewood area you gotta stop by. Much love

My friend and I went there for the first time and we both walked out disappointed. The spot is cool, great atmosphere, they're friendly. However they jacked up my friends neck with deep red scratches all over his throat very noticeable. He paid $36 for scratches on his neck and they're still noticeable 4 days later. Maybe theyre kind of inexperienced.

Flew into LA Friday morning, first time I've been in home in 20 years. Being born and molded by the streets of Inglewood, Compton, South Los Angeles there is an affinity and sense of nostalgia for this place. It will always be home...any who, needed a cut as my Barber back in my current home was on vacation. I checked into The Lounge Barbershop. Great ambiance, it appeared as though the owner or the best Barber there (he had the first chair) was attentive, told me to hang tight, welcomed me with a drink and I was in a chair within 10 minutes. Rick gave me a cut, solid is all I can say. My trip home started off on the right foot. Great locale, fresh cut (#FreshFadeFriday), great tunes; it's every bit of LA! I appreciate it fellas!
