I’ve been to a lot of barbers, and this is one of the only places where the cut actually looks better because the barber has real taste and puts in real effort. Even when I come in thinking I know exactly what I want, she’ll sometimes adjust it based on what she knows will look best on me, and it comes out looking fire. It is not just a basic cut. She pays attention to your hair type and head shape and she does the extra work most barbers skip. The biggest difference for me is how she handles texture. Other barbers will just cut it straight and call it done, and my hair ends up looking flat and too straight in a bad way. Here, she actually texturizes it so it sits right and looks natural. It still looks good after a few days too, not just the day of. Clean shop, welcoming vibe, and the quality is consistent. If you care about how your hair actually looks and not just getting out of the chair fast, this place is worth it. Highly recommend.

The shop has a laid-back, no-frills vibe, and while it might not be fancy, the friendly service more than makes up for it. This review is meant for the shop in the corner of beach and heil. I think there's some confusion as Ben used to work at the barbershop on heil and edinger. Anyways, I 1st found Ben when he worked at the barbershop on edinger. I lived at the apartments on beach and terry at the time. Consistently gave great haircuts and soon enough my roommate started going as well. Then Ben relocated to beach and heil and I moved further up beach to westminster. I still am a regular as he delivers a top notch fade every time. My gf who nevers goes with me always asks, "did you see Ben this week?" because she knows he's my go-to guy. Prices are unbeatable but I always make sure to tip him well. Man, I feel like I was paid for this now haha. Need a clean fade and live near beach and heil? You found your man. Oh, and his wife is low key getting better and better too.

The haircut I received was top-notch, and the barber really took the time to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. The end result was fantastic, and I've already scheduled my next appointment. I highly recommend this barber shop to anyone in the area!
