My second time coming to Empire Hercules barbershop. Once you enter, you will see certificates on the wall for “Best from the east bay” from 2018-2024 (except the year of 2022 if I am not mistaking). I even complemented the rewards after I decided to believe them the rewards were not fake (I was joking w them when I asked them btw). Okay! I’ve been trying for years to find a good haircut salon for my only boy who happens a to have a beautiful straight long hair and I decided to stop looking for a salon and go to a barbershop. At this point I do not care how much I’d pay so I Googled best barbers in the East Bay and Empire came up first and also happen to be the nearest. We decided to give it a changed and before I went in, my son has already had an ugly haircut from BG HAIRCUTS here at San Pablo (I also gave them a review w pictures and the messy haircut they did to my son). We were a walking and someone who I don’t which to provide his name took us in, which it was nice of him to do so. We talk and I knew he was not going to fix it completely but I told him to at least work his magic to try to make it look better, he did. I told him we were going to wait and come back to do the real magic so we did. This are the results. From how I wanted and finally have my son his hair grow back to the how it turn out to be. He is kind and nice, no doubt about that. Asking me questions about my son having the same name as his to asking offering me water. He also told me that the style I wanted is not much popular and I understand that but I am not most people. I don’t like my son’s hair cut to be clean w all of the details, if you want that, this is the place. All I wanted was messy natural haircut. Keeping simple, same style just little bit short. Say no more, picture speak more than words and see if the $60 dollars I paid was worth it.

I had the best haircut experience in America at Empire Barber Shop, thanks to Brian! He gave me a cut that was polished and incredibly clean—truly the best I’ve ever had. The attention to detail and precision he put into his work made all the difference. I highly recommend Brian for anyone looking for a top-notch haircut!

I’ve been seeing Francisco for about four months now. He’s extremely professional and knowledgeable about what he does. Whenever I’m lost about what to do with my hair, I’ll ask Franciso and he guides me on what styles would fit my face-that are similar to pass styles I’ve liked. They always come out amazing. The shop itself is clean and parking is adequate. Everyone is extremely professional and seems to foster a strong sense of community and unity. Like all barber shops, book ahead, and you’ll be happy with your experience.

Very clean and professional! Been coming here for years and been getting cut by Kevin… highly recommend. All barbers greet you on the way in, very convenient transactionless service (book and pay in advance so finish your haircut and walk right out), great atmosphere: music and several TVs showing news and sports. Family friendly establishment as well, have often seen kids of all ages getting haircuts here. Would highly recommend!

The Hercules Empire Crew is awesome! I've been a regular starting at their shop at Sunvalley Mall (Also Awesome) for years now! Then, they open a shop 5 minutes from home?! Seriously, if you are looking for a great local barbershop, just go here, and you won't regret it.

I have been getting my hair cut at Empire Barbershop at Sunvalley Mall for years, so I was excited that they were opening this location in my hometown! Empire is truly a premium experience & is unique from other barbershops I have been to in the past. I get my hair cut by Drew, and have been for the past 10+ years, but I would trust anyone in the shop to get me right!
