I recently cut off my locs I had for 3 years and have been wearing my short Afro for about 3 months. I just wanted a nice shape up and leave my curls at the top. I didn’t have a barber and took a chance just googling one in my area lol. I saw a few pictures of women with similar cuts to the one I wanted on here and was sold! Kevin did a great job and was very friendly and respectful! I’ll be sure to return when I need a cut again!

First off a haircut is a personal experience. Being confident that someone has the control to shape your perception to all that come in contact with you shouldn't be taken lightly. When you are sitting in the chair at stay groomed you are not a number in the line to get as many haircuts you can in an hour. You are treated as a human being that matters in this world. Great experience. I took my son to get his hair cut. His hair grew wild and I didn’t know what to do with it. Stay groomed was gentle with my 6 yr old who was nervous about getting a haircut. My son is real confident now. He showed off his haircut right after. The pics are from during the process of cutting. I don’t have an after pic yet.

I was looking for a barbershop close by my house and quick because were going out of town for my son's birthday this weekend and he wanted his hair faded with two designs on it ... luckily I ran into #staygroomedbarbershop whilst looking for someone available before Saturday...and since I'm such a last minute person .Kev came in so handy & did EXACTLY what my son wanted and even better my baby still can't stop taking selfies of himself he loves it .the shop was clean . Owner was professional & friendly and respectful & patient even though I was about 8 mins late to the appointment... but we will DEFINITELY BE COMING BACK AS REGULARS

I just went here for the first time today. Kev was nice enough to slide me in, but it's by appointment only. My first time going to a barbershop and he made it hella chill. I definitely plan on coming back to him. His prices are good too. I'm going to recommend him to my friends.

Kevin is an excellent Barber and a great person to go to to get your life right. He gave me practical and useful advice for me to implement immediately. He is friendly and kind. His prices are reasonable. I didn't have to wait for even a moment to get my haircut.
