The pricing here is great and affordable compared to other places. Johan is my barber, he is constant with his cuts and puts a lot of effort and detail into every cut. I also like how he does a consolation with me to see exactly how i want it and also checks in ensure it is what you’re asking for.

I’ve been coming here for almost a year now, and my guy Johan always gets me right! He was the first barber to cut my hair when I came in for the first time, and I’ve been going to him ever since. The haircut is always perfect, not once have I left his chair feeling like I got messed up. Johan really listens to what I want, takes his time, and always delivers. He’s also great at greeting and making customers feel comfortable. He even supported my shop, which I thought was super cool. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does and is great at his craft. The shop itself is always super clean, and even as a walk in I’ve never waited more than about five minutes. Everyone gets attended to quickly, and the whole team is always super respectful.

I used to jump around from barbershop to barbershop, never really satisfied—until I found this place based on all the great reviews. I stopped by and sat with Johan, told him about my situation and how my wife was never happy with my haircuts. After just two visits and his expertise, my wife is finally happy—which means I’m happy! The shop has a great vibe—always lively, friendly, and clean. No matter how busy it gets, Johan takes the time to greet every customer and make sure I’m comfortable. Even when I come in half-asleep from a long day, he still puts in 100% effort and attention to detail. He even insists I check the mirror because he genuinely takes pride in his work and wants every customer to leave happy. I think I’ve finally found my permanent barber. Highly recommend!

I was amazed by how talented the entire team is at Rise N Grind! Every barber here cuts exceptionally well, and the atmosphere is always friendly and welcoming. In particular, I now get my haircuts with Johan — his energy is unmatched, and the way he runs the business is inspiring. He truly has all the qualities that any business owner would want from their leadership and staff. Overall, it’s a great place with an excellent team. 100% recommend to everyone!

Vic is hands down one of the best barbers I’ve ever been to. He pays close attention to detail, listens to exactly what you’re looking for, and delivers a clean, sharp cut every time. You can tell he really takes pride in his work — he’s not just rushing to finish, he’s focused on making sure everything looks perfect. I walked out feeling fresh and confident, and got a ton of compliments on the cut. Victor G. has been my barber for over 3 years now, and I'm glad to continue to be his client at Rise N Grind. Even with the clean and modern remodel they've undergone, Rise N Grind still has that lively, old-school barbershop energy that's hard to find nowadays. The music's loud, the barbers are all chopping it up with each other and their clients, and you can really feel the sense of community the moment you walk in. The energy and environment really bring out the best in their barbers, and I can really see that with Vic. It's been great to watch how much he's grown as a barber and how well he's settled in over the past year. Vic is extremely talented with scissor work. He's got a deep understanding of weight distribution, layering, transitions, and precise blending, which is especially important for working on Asian hair texture like mine or for clients who keep their hair a bit longer. My hairstyle is a middle part with a low drop fade, and his work is consistent every time. Victor is easily the best barber I've been to, and Rise N Grind is hands down one of the best shops around. If you're looking for a friendly, highly skilled, and passionate barber who genuinely enjoys their craft, you'll find them here.

I’ve been getting my haircuts from Victor for a while now, and I can honestly say he’s one of the best barbers out there. This barber shop one of the nicer ones I’ve been to. Always welcomed by staff near door and it’s comfortable to wait for your cut. Never had troubles with the area, parking, or waiting times. Appointments are easy and there’s open communication. My barber Vic is great and takes care of you. You can show him references or explain what you want and he’ll check in with you throughout to make sure you’re happy with the cut. I’d highly recommend this spot.

James the managers treats you like family. In fact, all the guys here are warm and welcoming. Some of the best barbers in the South Bay work here, and they do it with pride. I highly recommend this shop if you’re in the area.
