After getting my haircut here for years I am Sad to say that this place is not what it used to be now a days... It seems like all the barber's working there are just kids who are currently in barber school or just started school .. And they definitely have a lot to learn still . For over $20 for a haircut you would expect a little more or actually a lot more.. now they didn't completely destroy my hair so I'm happy about that. Just needs a little more of a skilled hands and clipper's... I give em a 3 stars.. or 3.2 stars..

Been coming here for more than a decade. The ladies here are some of the best in town! I personally go to Erika for my cuts but Trini is also very good if you can be patient for her long wait times.

Great place to get a haircut. I've been coming here for two decades and this place is fantastic. Today I brought my 3 month baby and the stylist was so gentle with him that he didn't even know what was going on.

This was my first visit to Machos and it was honestly the best. I have constantly passed by them and today I decided to see the big fuss. The lady at the door, greeted me with a warm welome and the lady that cut my hair was so friendly and while working carried a conversation with me. I plan to go back again and again to Machos and will be recommending them to my friends. Thanks everyone for the great job.

I have been coming here for approximately four years. All of the barbers do a good job, but in my opinion Triny is the best. She goes above and beyond on details, so make sure you ask for her. Prices are very reasonable too.

The last few times i took my kids they gave them a different haircut than what i asked for.... Only 3 of the workers cut hair right... I wont be taking my kids back there

When I moved away from Los Angeles I was leaving a very good barber. Then I moved to South El Monte. It was frustrating finding g a barber that listens to your needs. Finally I found one. And Jose is unbelievable. Love the way he cuts my kids hair and mine. Only thing is that he's always busy.

Always full of customers.. They have about 7 barbers total. Always bring my son here, he has his favorite to go person. Rather not give name.. But she is pretty awesome.. Does a very clean line up and hair is always cut evenly. Have only had 2 bad hair experiences.. But mainly I feel cuz there either rookies or just old and loosing there touch. So now I only go to one person and my son loves her.
