“ISMAEL” charged me $40 in two different visits for a beard trim and line up. Poor job the first time. Poor job the second time. I was recommended to this individual twice. I thought to myself…perhaps he could’ve been tired the first time which was when he messed up my line up on the beard. One side was very obviously higher than the other. Second visit, this man does not pay attention to detail or and completely disregards the client’s requests. Again, messed up my line up and one side of my beard was longer than the other. “NEVER AGAIN”

I’ve been coming to Eric for years, and the quality is excellent every time. His work is always clean, consistent, and detailed. On top of that, the customer service is great and professional, welcoming, and makes you feel comfortable every visit. Wouldn’t trust anyone else with my haircut.Recommend 10/10..

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment regarding my experience at your shop. This was my first time visiting, as my regular barber is currently on vacation and I wanted to give your business a try. I specifically requested a mid taper fade, but I received a regular haircut with absolutely little to no fade shown. When I pointed this out and asked for the haircut to be corrected, I was told it would cost twice the original amount to fix. I found this completely unacceptable, especially considering the shop was empty at the time and the correction was straightforward. Given that your standard rate is $37 plus tip, I expected a much higher level of service and a willingness to ensure customer satisfaction when a mistake is made. I hope you will take this feedback seriously to ensure other customers do not have a similar experience.

I was a walk in Clean space, people in front were very friendly & helped me at the entrance immediately no pressure to stay or sign in Frank did an absolutely amazing cut on my son. Made absolute sure i was happy with the cut.

My wife had to go back over and cut all the hairs that were missed. Definitely won’t be going back or recommending this place to anyone.

Erik is by hands down is genuine, humorous and very pleasant to talk to while getting my beard trimmed and outlined. I feel very confident to say that you’ll feel the same way if you go to Downey Customs barber shop.

Sure it's a good service and professional barbers helping you out with your haircut and shaves. There's a restroom, vending machine, Books, Hair Products and Merch from the shop. I'd highly recommend for you to make an appointment cause if you're walking in for sure you're gonna wait a couple minutes. Haircut was super good 🙏🏽🔥
