I have gotten a lot of haircuts in my life, but none have been better than the ones I get here. You can tell the barbers are truly dedicated to their craft, and there is also an obvious sense of community among both the barbers and the clientele, many of whom are longtime regulars. However, while I have long gotten my own haircut here, it is only in the past few months that I have had to worry about someone else's hair; namely, my 16 month old son's. I have taken my son to the Danville Barber Shop and Shave Parlor twice for haircuts and both times Jason went above and beyond to accommodate a fussy and wiggly toddler while also managing to give him an excellent haircut. I could not be happier with the level of service and care provided, and I can guarantee that I (and my son) will be customers for years to come.

I'm only ten years old and I got the best fade. Like some other comments. Also, this place is amazing for 9 years or older.

"Got framed and restyled after my cut with Manny—top-notch experience. The team is precise, fun, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Fair pricing and truly professional all around!"

I was on my way to a speaking engagement on Saturday when I saw myself in the rearview mirror. I realized I needed a cut right then and there. Thankfully Jason was there to bail me out. We had a great conversation and I absolutely love the cut. Thank you Jason!

First time in this old school barber shop. I called first and was told they do not take appointments. Despite being packed I only had to wait 5-10 minutes for a barber. The place is bigger than it appears. Reasonable prices, decent haircut.

Great haircuts and friendly barbers. May take a few haircuts to find a specific barber at the location that you prefer. They recently moved next door which is a bigger space reducing wait time. If a haircut is done poorly by one barber another will come to salvage it.

This is the kind of place where if you're new, you're going to have to try and find a barber that knows how to cut. There are several of them and it seems like the good ones take appointments or their regulars wait. *hint hint* I walked in brand new and got a below average skin fade cut for $38+20% tip. I had the feeling the guy was new during the cut and I was correct. Still tipped to give him for encouragement. I think the majority of ppl are rating the ambiance and buddy buddy atmosphere; not the actual cut. It has one of those old school hang out men only vibe. It's pretty cool overall. Not going back.

My several trips to Danville Barber Shop have all been pleasant experiences. All barbers are friendly, well trained and efficient. You might have to wait a few minutes for a chair to open up. But, worth the wait. Have had my hair cut by 3 different barbers and all did a nice cut. Definitely recommend...
