Mixed experience here; The hair stylists put up a bio and profile for you to read in case you've never been, and I find that helpful because everybody has different hair, and hair cutting experience. My first experience was great, there was a gentleman who sectioned off my hair and did exactly what I asked of him because, as it said in his profile, he was capable of doing what I needed. The second time, unfortunately he no longer was on the roster, and I chose the manager because she was an option and her profile matched what I needed. Unfortunately when I showed up to the appointment, either the manager wasn't there or the woman who resembled her and was behind the counter didn't want to cut my hair and passed me on to a female who chopped my hair up, cut my ear, and nearly gave me what looked like a posh-version of a mullet.. Not sure why you put your profiles up and have us select a stylist if we're just going to show up and be treated as if we're at great clips.

Awesome staff! Diana really took the time to educate and style to get my best haircut! Great service and it’s plus that it’s the very first Floyd’s barbershop. Will definitely come back!

Walk-in… My barber did a great job giving me a skin fade. Hot Shave on the back of my neck, is always a plus. They even carry Layrite Clay which I use everyday.

Uploaded a picture of a desire style but the barber still don’t know what I want. Could be more friendly and nice about my style just feel very hostile. As a stylist, you should be familiar with stars hairstyles, i don't know the name of the cut so i can only bring photos, and even that you say you don't know or "it doesn't matter", that's just bad service ma'am. Second, I came before 9am because my appointment is at 9 but told by the barber that they open at 9 giving me a look. (shouldn't you be happy i am on time? instead of late?) Maybe suggest the owner make the first appointment available at 9:10am if you open at 9? Anyways I prefer the Tustin location better although the receptionist there is not really welcoming though. I wish there is a robot barber so that you don't have to deal with customers and we don't have to deal with you. We both don't want it.

What a poorly run operation. Made a 9am appointment only to hear the person cutting my hair woke up late because her alarm never went off. Ended up walking out at 9:30 with no haircut and employee still not there. Went to Super Cuts across the street.

I had my first cut there today and it was such a great experience. Great people and the music was amazing. Got what I needed and was in and out so fast.

This is a good spot with alot of talented hairdressers/barbers. They always listen to how you want your hair etc. Also the music is great I want to dance while im here lol

Was an amazing experience grew my hair out 3 year after getting a bad haircut in rsm, went here to get the haircut I've been wanting to properly get. Showed Susan the pictures of the style I wanted and sizing and she went to work I have bad vision so I couldn't see much without my glasses but I trusted her and I'm glad I did, she is an absolute naturally talented barber will definitely be coming back for the product she used at the end and to get it done the same:) and I came in without choosing a specific artist but I'm glad I was assigned Susan! 10/10

I don't typically leave reviews, and I wish I could give a higher one, but I've been coming here for 4 years now, always a solid cut... Until today. Y'all gotta get rid of the new girl... Asked for an inch or 2 off the top and sides were supposed to be a 4. I don't "hate" the top(though I do the more I look at it), but this is OBVIOUSLY not a 4 on the back and sides. Once I noticed how short she took it, I asked why? She said because there was a bump on the back and she wanted to even it out, but went overboard. Still obviously uneven, big knick on the right, scrape marks on my neck several hours after my cut. She had an adjustable shaver and was just going back and forth between sizes as she was aggressively mowing the back and sides of my head. Not good at all, I can't believe they even let me pay for this. Definitely wearing a hat for a few months, and not going back to this location. Straight hack job.

I was a little nervous about a new hair stylist, but I'm glad I tried Floyd's 99 Barber shop! Anita P. was friendly and she really listened to me when I told her what I wanted. I'll definitely be returning!
