Went to get an undercut. Xavier provided great service, was friendly and professional. I asked for a couple of hearts thinking I shouldnt except too much. Xavier showed me a couple pictures of some very complex design elements. I agreed saying " if you have those kind of skills for sure, go for it." He for sure rose to occassion. He will be graduating soon so id get in to see him sooner then later. Best of luck on your barbering career. Xavier. Wirh your skills, personality and level of professionalism you are going to do great.

Months ago before today’s 10/10 experience, I was disappointed with this one barber there when I spent the extra 5 on an experienced barber but they spoke inappropriately and didn’t follow my directions in a seemingly mocking way but today, months later it seemed the whole vibe in there changed with positivity and more chill in the evening. The guy who had only been cutting hair for 7 months with trainers or more seasoned barber coming to check it out throughout and check in. Ended up giving me one of the best haircuts I think I have ever had.

Unfortunately, there is no zero stars. Ok, I’m not talking about bad shape cuts, style or un even cuts. I’m talking about harm and damages could cause a psycho or un professional individual when cuts your skin or irritating your skin to remove fine yellow hair which is not visible, pushing unwanted hair to grow. He went almost 4” below the neck to the back! Also trying to shave the beard, come on this is 11 years old. They ‘ll say he is a student but this is not a right execuse, there must be a teacher or someone responsible to watch for these fatal mistakes. I should report this to the department of customer affairs / licensing board. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR KIDS UNATTENDED ORELSE GO TO SOME OTHER PLACE. At least the receptionist should understand the situation and reduce the tension but she made it worst. Please, choose the right people. Don”t trust you ‘ll get what you pay for. I paid for a senior, but definitely this wasn’t. I believe this place opens a back door for some unqualified people. Haircutting a kid is a responsibility, and requires a licensed person or a student with a close supervision.

I had a great experience getting my haircut here. The energy among students learning to be a barber was refreshing. Be prepared to know what you want and they are happy to do the best job they can. The professionals supervising the students are always roaming around, so if anyone has any questions or needs any help, they will step in if needed.

Great for haircuts - super great vibe with a very pleasant and high performing staff offering huge amounts of young energy coupled with motivated professional and contemporary products - I’ve fallen in love with this place. They have two other locations which i will be visiting soon as they are on my path of travel -modesto and san jose

A group of hardworking guys and galls that are trying to make an honourable living by learning a hands on skill. In my opinion they need to be helped out because not having a college degree has not stopped them to learn a new skill and hasn’t stoped them to strive for excellence . They come here to learn to have hair cut in 8 months and will go on their to support themselves and their family. You and me assisting them by having our hair cut in this place, and helping these young folks , many of them African American and Hispanic , grow and succeed. Don’t forget to tip them directly as the shop charge you only $8.

Coming here is a community service. You are helping students learn skills they will forever take with them. It's a cheap hair cut and you might get a student who is close to graduation or a student who just started. Some really skilled barbers have come out of this school and there is constantly a routing amount of skilled students enrolled. Be kind to your barber and don't forget to tip if you can.

Face does an excellent job with my boys. I’ve come back here over and over because of Elite Barbers like him. They are affordable for moms like me and they take pride and care in their work.

NOT AT ALL RECOMMENDED - TRY IT ON YOUR OWN RISK - GOT CUT ON MY LEFT EAR SO BADLY. Remember at very first place: "Your Hairs and Head Area is an Experimental Playground for Urban Barber Students". Now let's come on to the point, So the thing is many of these students don't even know how to hold a trimmer and scissor, Very first I had to wait for more than 30 mins and then the Black Guy who was cutting my hair by trimmer was using trimmer machine SO ROUGHLY in my head, I told him to use trimmer gently but he was just continuing AND WITH THIS HARSH MOVEMENT HE CUT MY LEFT EAR SO BADLY 👂 THAT IT STARTED BLEEDING. Also he took more than an hour to cut my hair's "Unevenly" and in bad shape. I Called to their two senior student (both fat guy) but everybody was behaving like nothing happened. Don't compromise for few bucks, I would say go for some professional salon's. Even in elite service these students only will give you service. Giving this 1 🌟 just for Pricing.
