I cane to this place two times. The first one was super crowded and it took long 1h30m waiting. The second time I decide to come very early when they opened. There were two babers. One of them talking a lot to the costumer. It took a long time to finish the haircut. The other guy was slow. I am not coming back. Stop talking too much and start to work. If there is people waiting you want to make sure you don’t take 1 hour to finish your costumers.

Great haircut and friendly service. First time here. I arrived on a busy Saturday around lunch. Some other customers were waiting for specific barbers, but I just waited for the first available. Great attention to detail, I'll be back, but I will try for a less busy date.

Great place! Yes the wait can be long but it is worth it. I showed the guy two different reference pictures and told him to do what he thought would look good… he NAILED IT! Price is decent.. you get what you pay for… Liquor store is next door which is great while you wait or after a cut. Over all 10/10

Asked for a simple 1 fade and 1 cm off the top, just a little cleanup. The barber cut my hair so short on top it’s been 4 months and it has just now gotten back to its pre-haircut length. My god. The sides were too round and the barber didn’t ask me any questions before starting and talked to another customer and other barbers during the haircut. This isnt a cheap $12 haircut at a random local mom and pop shop either. Also, parking here is a nightmare. The parking lot is so tiny it looks like it fits 2 cars max and street parking nearby is so run down I wouldn’t want to leave my car there for more than 5 seconds.

It took me a long time to find a good Barber in the valley. I've gotten cuts from the owner and his son, both are excellent and I'm sure the rest of the barbers are as well. They are quick, reasonably priced and they do great fades... Thanks for the great service👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Great place to get a haircut. Has both male and female barbers. Prices are worth the wallet friendly price too. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable barbers. The atmosphere is great and it's kid friendly too

Was getting a bite next-door (Mediterranean joint) with my friend and noticed the barbershop was open. Asked if appointments were necessary as they were closing soon and was told no, just wait outside in the seating area. Maria came outside and led me in… I showed her a photo of what I had in mind and she took care of me… Very attentive & very pleasant… Corrected my last haircut which I was not happy with. Definitely will return and have her cut my hair again… She is there every day except Monday. Gracias Maria 🙏🏼😊. FYI, they only take cash, but there is a small ATM inside… $25 for basic cut

Because it is the only shop that came out side to do work without an online appointment ! They did a great job and didn't f#*k me around. They cleaned my end cut with a straight razor real top notch service. A perfect cut at a fair price.. thank you Ricardo'sshop hop for coming through when I needed you

This is why you don't stray from your trusted barber. It was a Sunday when I visited. My regular barber at Standard Barber shop in Northridge wasn't in that day. And my backup, Dino's on Owensmouth was closed. I was desperate for a cut, it could not wait. I decided to try out Ricardos Barber Shop. First thing, the parking sucks. I walked in and the place is just an ugly mess. Needless to say it was empty and the only place open on Sunday at 2:30pm. The guy who cut my hair seemed like he was in a bad mood. I did everything I could to walk him through my cut. Pretty simple. An undercut with just a tiny bit off the top. He did the undercut too high up and got me off his chair before I could even get a word in about the top. The machines he was using felt like I was getting chopped up by the lawn mower and I could tell they were old because he would hit the switch and they'd take a minute to turn on. He used a blade in parts and cut me up so bad you'd think Edward Scissorhands was having a seizure mid line up. Absolutely bad experience. I wouldn't go back to this place even if you paid me to. God only knows how long my hair too to grow out now I gotta wear a hat until it grows out enough to have it corrected. Do not get your hair cut here.
