I was a loyal customer of Francine for over seven years since before the coronavirus pandemic. All was well until about 3 months ago , when I decided to try getting my hair cut by a different barber due to a horrible hair cut that she gave me that was uneven and not to my liking. That new barber, happened to be located in the same building as Francine, and she unfortunately happened to have walked by and saw me getting my haircut by him during my appointment. How awkward! I decided about a month ago that I wanted to give her another chance so I reached out to her to schedule a haircut and she informed me that all of a sudden for me she would only accept cash and not card even though she always has accepted Venmo card etc. Because of this, I did not follow through with the appointment as I did not have any cash on me and didn't wanna go to bank. She then texted me earlier today informing me that she does not want my business and that I am not the right "fit". I thought that she was a great person, but I came to realize after today that she is not someone to do business with and I highly recommend everyone consider this review before going to her, although I'm sure she's going to respond to me and deny these claims. Writing this review because of the texts she sent me today and to warn others :)

I’ve been going to cut and shave barber lounge for 3 years now, ever since I came here for the first time I haven’t been to any other barber shop. Francine always does such an amazing job. 👌🏻

The best salon I’ve been to so far. I’ve been going there for years, and every time I had to try somewhere else for unforeseen reasons, it was a disaster. I’ve grown used to quality, and that’s exactly what you’ll find here. Whether you’re a long-time client like me or visiting for a one-time service, Francine is by far the best in town, and I’ve tried many.

I just had the most AMAZING shave at this barber shop for the third time. 💈✂️ The barber was one of the best I've ever had. Not only did he do an impeccable job, but the shop was so clean and tidy, you could eat off the floor! 🧼🧽 But the best part was the conversation! 🗣️ We had such an interactive and engaging chat. It felt like catching up with an old friend while getting a clean shave. 🗣️💬 I must say, the barber was a true professional. He had serious skills and paid attention to every little detail, leaving me looking sharp and fresh. 🔥🕺 Can't forget to mention that the barber kept excellent time. No waiting around and wasting precious minutes. ⏱️⌛ All in all, the experience was top-notch! 💯 I left the barber shop feeling like a million pounds, with a smile on my face and a clean shave to flaunt. 😎 If you're looking for an enjoyable grooming experience, I highly recommend this barber. You'll leave feeling like a brand-new person! 💇‍♂️

This is the best barbershop I have ever been to in my life. The cut is excellent quality every single time. David is an expert and I love being able to simply trust a barber to have me looking great. The atmosphere is amazing and feels like home as well, they take great care of you. Make this your new go-to!

Dave and Francine are awesome. Always focused on great customer experience and truly care about the craft and what they do. Makes me glad my old barber left town as it led me to them. Thank you guys for your passion and care!

I’ve been coming to Cut and Shave since 2017, first at the Doheny shop and now at their Robertson one. I spent years trying to find a barber that gives a consistently good haircut and beard trim and I’ve never been disappointed here. I enjoy my visits not only because I leave with a fresh cut that I love but also because Francine and Dave are friendly and fun. They treat you like a friend, joking and keeping interesting conversation during your visit. Highly recommend!

With Dave and Francine, you not only get a great cut and shave experience and (more importantly) a consistent cut every time, you also get a good show with their back and forth banter. Even my 11yr old son gets a kick out of them. Go here as you won’t regret how you come out looking and feeling.
