My son's hair was really long and thick...just told the young lady to trim it short, and make it look nice. She did an INCREDIBLE job! He's actually a little late for his haircut coming up because I won't go anywhere except for Al's now.

Love this place! I typically get my haircut from Ester and she’s an absolute delight who always is consistent with her cuts. My haircut is nothing special but I still walk out of here feeling fresh, clean and amazing! I can also confirm that they have never had a blind person work here. Everyone has eyesight!

They can't do fades. You can't ask Tim to stop without him saying "I am a 59 year old man. Don't talk to me like that". (Tim) He is also blind and my hair was not even when he cut.

Absolutely perfect haircut, friendly service and atmosphere. I’ve taken haircuts everywhere on the island but I think that this has been my favorite so far. I’ve spent years trying to find a replacement stylist after my old one left the state. This is the first in a long time that I felt satisfied with my haircut. Plus the prices are so good that the same amount I used to pay for my other haircuts I gave extra to the barber because their service was that spectacular. Twice I’ve went so far and I absolutely loved their service. Will go more often and will try their other services. Highly recommend this place.

Brad was super attentive, his attention to detail is immaculate! The vibes at this barbershop is some of the best ive seen! The cut was also very nice, and the barbers here actually sanitize their equipment. Very much recommended!

My husband had a great experience here. The shop is small and quiet. Brad was very thorough and precise. All the staff we met were very friendly and welcoming, we will definitely be coming back.

Tim Hammons is a newer face at this barber shop but I believe he actually has the most skill! Best haircut I have gotten here yet! 👍👍👍 He has been cutting hair in the bay area for 20 years + I believe.

Wonderful little hidden gem in the East Bay. The shop has been here over 100 years, and the quality of the cuts and the barbers is top notch. Every time I've gone for a cut I get to hear a new story about the area or the shop - the conversation is great. If you like a good ol' fashioned quality haircut this is the shop for you. They just don't make em like this anymore, genuinely great.

These guys are amazing. Great haircuts, good conversation. This is the sister shop of Temescal Alley Barbershop, but you can make appointments. I now prefer Al's, it's smaller and more friendly.

Thanks Steve!

One of the best barber shops I have ever been to. They put thought into each cut and make it unique for you while also learning how you like your hair cut over time. Paul is an amazing barber and I always enjoy our chats.

Thanks Saul!
