I had a really bad experience there, I would rate them a O . I had asked for some highlights and I received half of my hair done. They took 7hours which they had told me only 4 hours. Not responsible for there action. Also they were suppose to dye my hair not my forehead and neck . I was stained with hair dye . What a waist of my time and money. I don’t recommend you coming here at all.

I went in Saturday morning to get a haircut. The person behind the counter neglected to tell me that there was going to be a wait. Then after sitting there for an hour I asked the person behind the counter how much longer it was going to be? She there's another person ahead of you and I said well I have been sitting here for an hour waiting to get a haircut. I was told " oh not to much longer" I said I have wasted an hour here and you never told that there was going to be a long wait. I figure after all the students I saw standing around visiting with each other that it would't have taken long to get a haircut. When I asked for my money back the person behind the counter was rude to me when I told I wasn't going to wait and when I said thank for for my refund she said "yeah whatever". Very unprofessional!!!

I came in today to get my nephew hair cut and I paid the lady up front we waited for my nephew to be called took like 5 minutes anyway the young man who was suppoused to cut his hair refused to cut his hair and was bringing up old personal things from the past. Being very unprofessional acting very aggressive and hostile in the beauty school with a customer. I asked the older gentleman for the young guys name and he wouldn't give it to me. So I am posting this incident on here letting the public know this is how these ppl conduct themselves and treat the public.

Do NOT take your child or teenager here. My 17-year-old sister went to this Beauty and Barber College and left with damaged hair and no accountability from the staff or administration. Not only did the student who worked on her hair fail to provide any kind of disclosure or waiver (which is required by the school), but my sister — who is a minor — was never informed about their “no refund” policy. She was not given anything to sign, nor did a parent provide consent. Legally, that alone is incredibly serious. Her hair was damaged, broken, and even shaved in areas because the student didn’t know how to safely detangle a knot. And instead of acknowledging their mistake, the school staff tried to dismiss her concerns and insisted her hair wasn’t damaged, when it clearly was. The lack of professionalism, supervision, and legal compliance is unacceptable — especially for a school that’s supposed to be teaching future professionals. They also sent me to another location to complain and lied about anyone being in the Phoenix office. When I got to tolleson, they quote “Alfred is at the Phoenix office”. They encourage lying apparently. Letting a minor receive services without a signed waiver or parental consent is a major liability, and I will be reporting this to the State Board of Cosmetology. Please be extremely cautious. If you care about your hair or your child’s well-being, avoid this place. They do not take responsibility for their negligence.

This place is great if you want a cheap haircut. the haircuts are usually pretty good but not always the best but its a school and its only $8 for the cut so its worth the price. sometimes the wait is over a hour and sometimes the desk clerk takes awhile to talk to you but its still worth going.

I went there today and i exactly specified the style of my hair and the lady, over cut my hair. Mind you my hair was at medium long length. Now it’s very short that it looks like buzzcut. I said no to many layers and she over did them. I don’t recommend her graduating and she needs more time on her work.

The girl who cut my hair was kinda lazy, she didn’t like how much hair I had and wouldn’t really fix things I didn’t like because it “would take longer” (she said no to layers and to fixing it to the length I wanted) I had asked several times for it to be cut to my armpits and she still left it about 2 inches longer than I wanted. When I was getting my hair shampooed she kept accidentally splashing soap in my eyes which got annoying. Personally I wouldn’t go back, but you get what you pay for.
