I have been going to Luis and the barbershop for almost 6 years and do not need or want to look elsewhere. Appointment booking: On point and I have almost never had to wait Services: my beard has been everything from touching my chest with a handlebar mustache to most recently a low and short beard with a taper. Luis has handled them all and my beard always gets compliments and my girlfriend loves it. Luis is old school. Warm towel and straight razor and always spend time making sure it is perfectly to my standards. He is also always perfecting his craft and being up on trends and cuts to fit the individual. Ease and speed: I am busy and in sales management. My time is limited and setting a time and Luis getting it done very well and fast is always appreciated! Side note: I recently went short on the beard and yesterday even shorter. Luis always takes the time to talk to me and make sure I was ready for the shorter beard. I went really short yesterday and we laughed about it. I had 3 compliments at Fry’s and 2 at the gym with in a few hours of the trim. Bonus my girlfriend really likes it too. Summary: I have been using Luis and the shop for almost 6 years. I can’t ask for a better trim on my beard or a better barbershop. It’s old school and the attention to detail is much appreciated. I have brought friends and family members in for trims also. They were more than happy! I can only give 5 stars but this Old Barbershop deserves 7…. I just remembered,once Eli was the only one available to trim my beard. Luis made sure he knew my standards and Eli also nailed it!!! You can’t go wrong with using either guy!!! 10000% recommend!!!

Very disappointing experience. I clearly explained what I wanted for both my haircut and beard, but the barber completely ignored my instructions. The haircut was poorly executed: the taper was uneven, and the top was cut without any texture or structure, which made my receding hairline more noticeable instead of blending it. The beard work was worse. The length was uneven, there was no tapering at all, and the neckline was cut too high, ruining the overall shape of my face. What made the experience unacceptable was the unprofessional behavior. The barber repeatedly talked about politics and religion and used inappropriate and vulgar language. I politely asked him more than once to stop and change the subject, but he continued anyway. This made the entire experience uncomfortable and disrespectful. Overall, there was a clear lack of professionalism, attention to detail, and respect for the customer. I will not return and do not recommend this place to anyone looking for quality service or a professional environment

This Old Barbershop is exactly what a real barbershop should be. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the difference—experienced barbers, a relaxed atmosphere, and genuine attention to detail. There’s no rushing people through chairs here. Every cut is clean, intentional, and tailored to the client. The shop itself has a classic, old-school feel that’s rare to find anymore, but the skills are absolutely modern. Whether you’re getting a haircut, beard trim, or full cleanup, you leave looking sharp and feeling taken care of. If you’re tired of chain shops or inconsistent cuts, this is the place. Professional, welcoming, and consistently excellent. Easily one of the best barbershops around. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately, this was a disappointing experience. The service felt rushed, and the final result did not match what I asked for. Hair below my lips was nearly completely removed even though it is a key component of the beard shape. The lines along the sides are uneven and tilted, and the sideburns do not match. I am unhappy with the outcome and will need to have another barber fix it.

Luis is a true artist when it comes to trimming my beard. I've never had someone whose process is so articulate. His approach is thorough, relaxing, and detailed. I'm extremely pleased with the results I get from visiting Luis time after time. The results are so astounding that one of my customers left a review for me after they bought a roof from me (picture attached to review). If you've been hesitant to have someone trim your beard or if you've had someone trim it poorly in the past, rest assured you can trust Luis with the responsibility.

Another great visit with Luis. Never fails to leave me looking great. I trust him to make recommendations and he's never let me down. All I need to do is give him an idea and he gets my hair there. All around great guy, definitely deserves praise.

So glad my brother told us about this 💈 Barber Shop. Luis did a Great job on my son's hair!! Took the time to listen to what he wanted to try and it came out perfect! The sofas made you feel right at home. There's not loud music or loud tv. It gets our Autism/Sensitive Friendly stamp of approval 🏆👌🏼 Will recommend to others for sure. 100⭐️

Luis at This Old Barber Shop is awesome! I got a great haircut for a great price, the shop has an awesome aesthetic with a traditional Barber shop feel, and I left feeling great. I'll be going here from now on for my haircuts!
