Nothing about this haircut turned out like the reference video I showed. The style, the length, the fade everything was different from what we discussed. Since I was facing away from the mirror most of the time, I couldn’t see what was happening or step in to correct it. By the time I saw the final result, it was too late. I left feeling disappointed and unhappy with the outcome. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this place based on my experience.

On Friday 1/30/26 I have a couple of hours before my plane takeoff and decided to visit the Varón Co. in Phoenix, barely in the outskirts of the airport PHX , I walked in and they Squeezed me for a haircut, and Jaime took over my case, Haircut and beard trim. Well the result was fantastic, Jaime really know how to cut my hair and everyone at the event I was attending praised the style. Thanks Jaime and Varón Co.

Danna is the best at cutting hair! My son would cry during his haircuts until we found her in Mesa next to a carniceria. She’s been cutting his hair for years now and we followed her to Phoenix. Anybody that needs a haircut I always recommend her because she does amazing work.

First time getting a haircut with Jaime, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, he was attentive and welcoming, even offering water right away. He gave me the best haircut I’ve had in a long time. I was in and out in about 30 minutes, and the skin fade came out flawless. My photos are definitely going to look great. I’m in town for the Fiesta Bowl (Miami Hurricanes vs. Ole Miss), and Jaime genuinely made my trip better. On top of the haircut, he took the time to recommend great places to eat and things to see, including spots in Sedona. World-class barber and an even better person. I highly recommend Jaime and Varon Co. Barber Shop.

Best Barber shop we’ve ever been to in Phoenix! Donna has been cutting our grandsons hair since he was 5 months old. Every single time she has done a perfect cut on him. We moved an hour from this location but it’s worth the drive to keep coming back!

I was in town from Washington for an event and was on the hunt for a good haircut. The Varon Co was close by and not overpriced! I popped in without an appointment and they were able to squeeze me in. I got Josue as my barber, and let me tell you! He was awesome! He did so good on my fade and look! Super cool guy! Just really nice and fun to talk with! I wouldn’t mind make my him my go to if I lived in the area.

6/5 stars for Josue No more barber PTSD for me 😆 Josue did a phenomenal job! I showed him several pictures from myself 5 months ago at medium length hair, the way I wanted it to be cut again. He took the time to understand and make sure we were on the same page. Before today, I've had every barber in the past 2 years from both haircut chains, and private owned places, all butcher my hair before and didn't cut it how I asked them to. Josue is an expert at what he does, I couldn't have asked for a better cut. Don't be fooled by his lack of reviews, he says just got there last month! I hope he stays, I don't think I can trust anyone else to cut my hair after seeing what an amazing job he did.
