First time at this downtown Phoenix shop and Scotty took care of my son’s cut. He really listened, didn’t rush, and made sure everything was exactly right. If you want someone who takes pride in their work, ask for Scotty!

Been coming here for a while and have gone through a few different barbers (who have all been great but end up leaving for one reason or another) - most recently got my haircut by Robbie who did a great job and promised he'd be sticking around.

Popped in for a quick haircut while in town for 24 hours, and I’m glad I did. Scotty was awesome! Best cut that I’ve had in years, great conversations, such an awesome guy. Going to have to plan a trip back to Phoenix just to see him again!

I've been going to Local Barber for 3 years now and have been with Scotty for the last 2. I used to be a "slap the guard on and run it all over" haircut person and Scotty has helped me go from boring to stylish every time. Growing up in a smaller town, I dreaded having to find a barber in a major metro area like Phoenix. Local Barber and Scotty made it easy on me.

I just wanted a trim on my bangs, i requested the length to be at the first half of my eyebrows. Not only did he cut past my eyebrows but he proceeded to give me the haircut that he wanted and not the one that i asked for. I told him i wanted to keep the length of my hair the same and instead he cut it short all around my head. I don’t understand how what was supposed to be a quick, maybe 10 minute trim turned into an hour long makeover. The haircut itself was also painful, I don’t know what he was using to cut my hair with but it felt like each strand of my hair was being ripped out one by one. I have to say im almost impressed at how well he didn’t follow my request and messed up my hair, it’s unbelievable. I’d give you 0 stars if I could, I miss my hair and i will not be coming back.
