I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, and I have been to numerous barbershops over the decades. I've been going to Paradise Valley barbershop now for close to 14 years. Edward and his father operate this barbershop and it's the best barbershop I have ever been to. I wouldn't go to any other barbershop ever because the experience and quality of service is absolutely the best. If someone's going to cut my hair, then I want my Barber to do a great job. Since I've been going to this barbershop for close to 14 years and have seen lots of regular clients because they obviously know where to get a great haircut. Thank you, Edward for the exceptional haircuts over the last 14 years. As far as I'm concerned, you are the best. Also, Edward, thank you for cutting my roommates autistic son's hair. We started bringing him there to cut his hair when he was just two or three years old and I can remember him just having a fit and we had to hold him. You always have done such GREAT job cutting his hair with patience and absolute professional care. Now at seven years of age being level three autistic, he sits there trusting you will take professional care cutting his hair and doesn't fuss at all. Thank you that means a lot to this family. Thank you.

Worst beard trim I’ve ever received - completely uneven and chopped my beard into a chinstrap. Had to completely shave and restart a 6-month beard growing process. He completely ignored my instructions and couldn’t even follow a picture that I showed him as a guide. Worst $20 I’ve ever spent

This place was perfect. 5yrs ago and apparently with time so goes the skill. Was expecting for it to be better and not even close! What my son asked for v. What he got… smh now he wants to wear a hat! Not worth the money better barbers elsewhere. A lot of elderly and simple cuts which should’ve told me what I needed.. they’re used to a certain clientele and simple cuts nothing that requires true skill. My son had more than enough hair for the style he asked for! Won’t be returning

I am now 23 years old and have been going to Paradise Valley Barber since I was 14. I have never received a bad haircut here and will continue to go here until they don't let me in the doors!! Great place!

First haircut by the younger gentleman was a 5/5. Extremely impressed by his work so I came back today. An older gentleman cut my hair and almost shaved it all off. Though I tried to correct him from the beginning, he kept cutting my hair beyond repair. He also cut my head in 5 different locations. He missed hair around my ears so I came back in, but he cut my ears some more so I asked him to please stop. I would like to come back for a cut from the younger guy, but am disappointed I had to pay for today’s hack job.

Great barber - especially if you are doing hair and beard! My husband tries everyone out in the PV area, and the older man, possibly the owner- he does a fabulous job on his hair/beard and always make him look very clean cut and polished. Not sure what other people are saying but if you bring this man a reference photo- he can copy it exactly. Great barber!

Edward does a great job at cutting my curly hair and is always a pleasure to deal with. They have very reasonable rates and extremely friendly. I know he’s a skilled barber as I can’t just go to any barber for a good haircut due to the type of hair I have, but Edward does an amazing job!!! Highly recommend.

I've been getting my hair cut here for years. Great place with a perfectly reasonable price. These gentlemen do a great job every time and take pride in their work. I know I will get what I came in for and will leave with a fantastic fade. I enjoy the ambiance as well, quiet and old school with very comfy barber chairs.

Best bang for your buck in the valley! This barber shop is a family affair, started by the father and ably cared for and managed by his two sons. The shop is reminiscent of an old time establishment, but the barbers are able to provide modern, cutting-edge haircuts according to an individual’s desire. Schedules are on a first-come, first-served basis and the waits are usually not long. I have been patronizing this establishment for years, a testament to my satisfaction. Edward always takes care of me, but his brother has clients who seem equally satisfied with him.
