The Downtown Barber Shop was a wonderful experience, a mix of the Old West and the East. I got a perfect haircut from someone with class and an amazing family story. It's great to know that places like this still exist. (You can read about Eduard, the owner, in several newspaper articles.) I'll be going here for all my haircuts from now on.

A fantastic old school barber shop! Was in town for the day and called to see about a cut; Eddie (owner) got me in with short notice. Great conversation and an outstanding haircut! Highly recommended.

I got my hair cut here today for the first time. I walked by here at thousands of times over the years but never walked in. I'm glad I did! I had an awesome conversation with my barber, Marina and the owner while I received an awesome haircut. I recommend this spot for anyone needing a haircut in downtown Phoenix!

One of the best haircuts I've had in a long time. Very personable staff who enjoy their work and treat it like an art, which in a way it is. My only regret is that it's a 3hr flight from my home our I would be a regular.

Sophia gave me the best haircut I've ever had, I had somewhat of an idea of how I wanted my hair but I wasn't sure exactly what to ask for and Sophia knew exactly how to achieve what I had in mind, Sophia is very skilled in haircutting, I liked that she updated me on all the techniques she used while she was doing them so I am aware of how she achieved the look I wanted, I for sure will be coming here to get my hair cut from now on. Even before i stepped foot into this great establishment, I researched other barbershops in the area and none of the other barber shop's reviews compared to Downtown Barber Shop's reviews and from what i read, it was exactly what i was looking for in a barbershop, and when I got there I got exactly what I was looking for. An old school barber shop in the best way possible. Everyone who worked there was friendly and made me feel welcomed, I can't wait to go back and experience such a great hair cut experience again. 10/10 I will be recommending anyone to come check this place out. Also bonus points for their music selection, I enjoyed every single song they played, cant go wrong with oldies, reminds me of home.

Eddy has been my barber for 5 years, I retired and left Phoenix I came back for a new job downtown and immediately called my old friendly barber. I got a great haircut and beard trim reasonably priced and professionally cut in very short time. Eddy's the best!

Great Barber Shop!!! Been a customer for the past 5 years and will continue going. Leonor is great with any and every cut, beards, etc.. you'll have to see for yourself. Always awesome service and Eddie the owner is always making sure your experience is a pleasant one. Very convenient in the heart of downtown (cash,debit or credit accepted) give them a visit!!!

One of the top places in the country to get a haircut. I prefer a more classic style of haircut and it is hard to find a place that can really perform consistently. Most places end up butchering my hair and cutting my cowlick too short so when I return home to style it nothing lines up right. I have been here three times and gotten a great haircut every time. Their prices are very good! I fly from Philadelphia to Phoenix on work trips just to get my haircut here!

Just walked in and was taken care of very quickly. Outstanding haircut from start to finish. Staff was extremely friendly and the owner is a delightful individual (from New York). His attention to detail was top notch and he made me feel like the most important person in the shop. I will be coming back regularly from now on. If you're looking for a excellent old fashion barbershop with a quality staff and outstanding customer service - look no further, as this is the place.
