The service was unacceptable. The barbers were very unfriendly. No greeting upon walk in. I was standing there with my 7 year old son and you could literally hear crickets for at least 60 seconds. I will never step foot in this shop again. I would give it zero stars if that was an option.

Enjoy coming to get a haircut. My barber Mr. Xander hooked me up. Though I only needed an edge up, he cleaned me up and had me feeling good. The facility is very comfortable, and the vibe and energy there are so relaxing. My partner and I were looking for a new personal barber, and Xander and the team took good care of us. I love the music and professionalism. We will be back again.

Best barbershop in Phx, I've been coming to Champs for awhile now and never leave disappointed. The staff is very professional, courteous and swift. If you are looking for a barbershop look no further. Darryl is my go-to.

Very old school " Barbershop Style". The stylist are very welcoming and try to accommodate you as quickly as possible. They take their time and seem very sincere about your satisfaction with their work. My 7yr old grandson (although he hates going) has walked out with his head high and a smile when he's done. I think that says it all. Don't hesitate to patronize these guys, they are worth it.

The haircut was was good and what I wanted BUT the barber was in a rush, and was aggressive in giving me the haircut, used so much force (picture of him lining me up with the trimmer) and cut me twice. Didn't notice the line on the back until my sister told me about it It my first time leaving a review for a place but this is the worst treatment I have ever gotten and the worst barbershop I've been to, including the shops that gave me bad haircuts.

A great and kool place with very good barbers, there is a lil wait time, but if you expect fine work, It takes some time to create the art they do. Definitely stop by & check them out. They don't take appointments, but your barber will hook you up with his number and Mitchell is that man that’ll hook it up with some clean lines and a tight fade and some good conversation and if your a veteran some memory lane 411 on that as well.

Great place & very good barbers, there is a lil wait time, but if you expect fine work. It takes some time. Definitely stop by & check them out. They don't take appointments, but as long as you're not trying to get a fast cut on a Friday or Saturday.

Poor business. My son came into the shop requested Nick not only did he sit for hours but a completely different person cut his hair. He specifically asked for a taper (seat down with a taper) and was given a fade. I called and spoke to Nick the owner and only answer I was given was I don't know I mean I don't have an answer was it a bad haircut. What a way to run an establishment. You pay for a specific service to be rendered that's what you should get. When it's not provided I would think as the owner of an establishment you would have a way to rectify the situation especially when you were supposed to provide the service. To add insult to injury the haircut is screwed. I wish I could provide pictures.

This shop is actually not called Cuttin Up anymore. It's "Champz"... if you're trying to get a clean cut, in a REAL Barbershop with a Mid-West vibe from either Mid-West Barbers or West Coast this is the place to go. I've been going here since I moved to AZ April of 2015 and I can't complain. My Barber Nick is the homie and he's nothing but a professional. They cut all styles of hair not just African American / Black. Stop by and tell them AB sent you.

I'm excited tthey are back under a new name "Champs" and management, but the great quality of service is still amazing. My guy gets his hair cut once every 2 weeks and have been coming here for almost a year. I love and appreciate the sense of brotherhood, integrity and respect that is vibrant in this barbershop. These strong Black men are role models AND family men who knows their crafts. It's always an enjoyable experience when I come with my guy to get a fresh cut.
