Bretton Barber was great to work with. He helped me with a Good Cause Exception for a Level I Fingerprint Clearance Card and made the whole process easy to understand. My Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card was unexpectedly denied because of an old, dismissed, and sealed case from nearly 20 years ago. I was stressed and unsure how to move forward, especially with a new job offer on the line. I want to start by saying I don't know Bretton or never even heard of him before I searched for a lawyer to help me with my fingerprint card. He was the only lawyer out of Several I reached out to for help that replied and was actually willing to put in work to help. ALL the other lawyers wanted me to gather everything I need and send it to them to submit. And once you gather everything to submit you can just do it yourself and save some money. My history was extensive, and I did need help. Bretton told me on day one all he needed was my denial letter and my explanation letters that he would do the rest. And that is what happened. This is the first time I've ever reviewed anything for anyone, and it is well deserved.
