Barber’s Choix saved my son’s beautiful curly hair from a horrible haircut from Fantastic Sam’s in 2024 and we have been loyal customers since. Hugo is FANTASTIC. He’s been cutting my son’s hair for a year and a half and the only person we found in 15 years living in AZ that can cut my son’s thick curly hair exactly the way he likes. My son “HAD” haircut trauma from so many bad haircuts and Hugo has definitely healed that for him. My son always walks out very happy. Thank you so much Hugo and staff. The customer service is always so friendly and knowledgeable and they make you feel very comfortable and at home. I wish I can give him 10 stars.

Gladis is the best! She handles my big style changes flawlessly and is amazing with trendy cuts. Incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and skilled at making exactly what I imagine come true. I always leave thrilled with my haircut, no one better!

Gladis is an artist when it comes to cutting hair. She goes out of the way to ensure you don't just like your haircut, but you love it. Hugo has also cut my hair and is wonderful at it. He is also a master at beard trims. The entire team is a delight, they great you as you walk in and make you feel at home.

Gladys is AWESOME! Unlike most other hairdressers (across the board of industry pricing & skill levels), SHE LISTENS!! then does her best to give customers what THEY want!! I'm so delighted to find her right here in my neighborhood. I could not be happier w this shop & her excellent service.

This was my first time getting my hair done professionally and I had a great experience! I Gladis made me feel really comfortable and knew exactly what I was asking for. My haircut turned out great! I definitely recommend coming here!

I've been coming here with my family for several years now - all of the barbers here do such a great job, and Gladis is just such a fantastic barber and friendly person! The store is always clean and professional, and the barbers are able to adapt to any hairstyle from what I've seen. I've walked in without an appointment on any given day and have been helped (but it's always good to have an appointment just in case!) Even when I was living in Tucson, I would make the drive up here to get my hair cut here - that's how great they are! I'm always very happy with my hair after a cut from this place, especially with the option of a straight razor and scalp massage afterwards with my selection! 100% worth your money to get your hair cut here :)

This review is a tad bit late. Well, a few months late to be exact. Life has been quite hectic and I failed to get on here to leave this review. That said, I want to give Gladys 5 stars for my visit 2 months ago, in September. I moved to AZ from CA (don't come for me) and I've struggled to find the right hair stylist. This resulted in me dying my own hair with Sally's beauty supply products. I showed Gladys a picture of the color I wanted to achieve, and I believe she was afraid we wouldn't get the lighter color because my hair was darker and perhaps, she was afraid my box dye was black. So, she told me it wasn't possible without stripping my whole hair. And if I didn't strip it, the color she would use would be closer to my natural dark hair and we could add highlights. I was really bummed out but somehow, I Still pictured my hair would be lighter color lol. Anyway, I agreed with whatever Gladys told me and just went along with the plan. Sadly she said my hair wasn't what she expected from the pics I sent her, so she had to add another $45 or $60 on top of what was originally quoted. Again, I went along because I was already there and I had an event to attend. Let's just say I've never paid this much for my hair (o_0) even in California's high prices YIKES. A few benzz to be exact. 3 to 4 hours later, the reveal had me a bit puzzled because again I was still hoping my hair color would be lighter with highlights added to it. However, my hair was still dark. That was my fault for not understanding what she told me. Skip to the end. The End result was awesome. I ended up LOVING my new hair color. It was So much better than what I walked in with. Also so much better than other salons I've visited in AZ! Hands down. I LOVED how she took her time with my highlights and cared for my hair. I loved how she interacted with me. I loved how she and her coworker took care of the facility even though she told me she didn't own the place, they took care of it as their own. I love how she was hospitable and kind. So with that said I feel like I've found the hairstylist I need in my life <3 !! I just hope maintenance isn't as expensive as first time around lol. Gladys is great and I give her all the stars google has to offer!! Oh! and I also found out she cut my son's hair earlier in the year and he loved the cut she gave him!!! I had no idea coz someone else took him there. But it makes sense that we all appreciate Gladys' work. She's amazing! Thank you Gladys and staff for a great experience!! Look forward to coming back.

What an amazing place! It’s not just a barber shop but everything you can think of in a salon!! They do men and women cuts, facials, highlights .. ext.. and they are so sweet and nice and they do such an amazing job too! The place has an elegant black and white look there professional and you we’ll definitely be walking out of the building looking like a new person! Thank you for helping us look our best!!! 🩷🩷 Gladis did my husband look , we let her have free reign and below is our before and after pics! She did a GREAT job!

Excellent barbershop. It’s always a pleasure to reconnect with Gladys, skilled and kind, chatting during our appointments. (It’s walk-in, too.) For men getting a beard trim or cleanup I suggest the full treatment, complete with hot towels, scents, scalp massage. Gladys is a good sorceress of the follicles and skull. Her work on my bald head, mostly on the hair around my bald head, is clean and consistent. You’ll feel good and you’ll smell good. Support La Choix! Support meaningful small businesses. -Craig Keller

The shop is very clean and relaxing, I feel myself falling asleep, which is nice. Gladis has been my stylist. She is very accommodating, taking extra care in all the services to make sure it matches my taste or wishes. She goes about the basic levels of service in order to make my hair look nice. I like the scheduling system used at the shop too, very easy. Thank You.
