I'm here for the winter and fortunately found this shop to keep me looking respectable. I have been there twice and received perfect cuts. Filipe is wonderful!

I been getting my haircut here since I was little like 2 years old. The Barbers are great and they all have great attitudes. I’ll always go here friendly great environment and it’s a staple in the community and landmark. It has been in business since 1948 and still going strong. Cash only some barbers take Venmo or Zelle

I've been going to the Gilbert Barber & Beauty Shop for a couple of years. It's kind of a small town barber shop. Everyone's friendly, and they do a great job. If you time your visit right, you can hit Real Joe's BBQ before the lunch rush, like I do :)

Best hair cut I've had in years! Love the classic barbershop atmosphere. The barber's are professional and experts at their craft. Please support local businesses by going to places like this and not the franchises or big chains. You will not be disappointed. I highly recommend Gilbert Barber & Beauty Shop!

Came here for a beard trim. 11 bucks not bad. Trim was ok. Took off way more than I asked for but it is what it is. I saw a sign saying their haircuts are going from 24 to 30 dollars. That's kinda expensive given the no frills experience. I gave 4 stars because my experience was ok but it's a 3.5 overall for me.

I recently moved from Buffalo, NY. Shop is located on Historic Gilbert district, with ample parking in the back. Took an appointment with Fillieppe,He was very polite and cut my hair exactly as I had wanted. Very reasonable rates as well. Highly recommend.

Best barber shop in Gilbert. Felipe has been giving me haircuts for 8 years, and never ended up with a bad haircut. Not expensive, only cash, and friendly people running the business.

Andres has been my barber for 10 years and always great results. I'm never disappointed and he always does everything perfect and meticulous. Most places charge you for a hair cut and beard trim separately. At Gilbert Barber they do both for one great price. Place is clean, safe and always makes the cut!

*Edit*12-22-18 Sad to say I had to lower my rating 1 star. They say they close at 3pm on Saturday and I went in at 2:33. They turned me down and said they were done for the day. They only take cash so I went to my ATM and kinda planned some of my day around this haircut. 3 is very early to close to begin with but to turn down somebody a half hour before you close is a little disappointing. I'm sorry to have to do this because the employees here have always been nice and respectful to me. I still recommend visiting this barber but If you plan on going just get there plenty early! Original review: This is my new barber. He gave me a thorough haircut and didn't miss a hair. A real professional cut and he even knocked out my ear hairs without me even asking. The price was beyond fair and you will gladly tip well.

Always the best haircuts. My son's hair is super thick and isn't easy to maintain. We started taking him here about a year ago and won't take him anywhere else now. His haircuts are always perfect and last a long time for his fast growing hair. If you want spa treatment, go to a spa, if you're looking for an excellent haircut, come here!!!
