Alex is amazing! I’m visiting from out of town and happened to se the location. I booked an appointment for the next day. He is one of the most talented barbers I’ve ever been to. Definitely worth going. I highly recommend!

Alex was great and I loved my haircut. Not only did my haircut turn out the way I wanted it, the service was extremely quick as well. This was my first time here, but I will definitely be returning.

My son had received a terrible mess of a haircut at a different hair salon in town, so I took him to MJD to get it fixed and they did an AMAZING job. I learned my lesson and will take him back to MJD every time. Highly recommend!

Easy scheduling and modifying appt. Great vibe in shop. Alex did a great job on my flat top. Good music. Always on time. Makes sure hair is perfect before kicking me out the door.

Been looking for a new barber since going to the same one for years in my previous city. I’ve been to several around Scottsdale, they were all fine, just not exactly what I was looking for. I found MJD and this will be my go-to. Alex was fast, cut my hair exactly as I asked, and he’s a cool guy. Place is very nice inside as well.

Incredible haircut! I’ve lived in Arizona for 20+ yrs and finally found the best barber in town. Alex was attentive to my request, clearly well experienced with working with curly hair, and ensured that not a hair was out of place. Will be back and highly recommend!

MJD is the best barber in town hands down. I’ve been getting my hair cut by Alex every Friday for the last 3 years. It’s located right next to Bone Haus Brewery so it’s easy to grab a beer after a fresh cut.

MJD is a fantastic barber shop. I have been getting my hair cut every Friday for 3 months now and I’ll keep coming back. Alex the owner and a barber is great and very attentive to detail. I’m not itchy when I leave and always feel taken care of. There are 2 or 3 other barbers on staff as well. They take walk ins or appointments. They carry some really good products which I now use for both my hair and beard. Thanks for the great service!

I was happy to find a late afternoon haircut appointment and booked it easily online. Alex was very friendly in welcoming me on Christmas Eve to his shop. The shop is very nicely laid out with comfortable seating for anyone waiting. There is plenty of room. The haircut was fantastic and just what I wanted and described. Nice razor trim and massager at end capped the experience.
