Fantastic!! My husband got a fantastic cut with hot towels, I sat down in the bar and had a charcuterie board and a bottle of wine. And he had an old-fashioned while getting his haircut. Then we ordered the slow braised beef. It was super tender and absolutely delicious. Great find!!

I love The Bearded Barber. It offers two services I use multiple times a month: the barber shop and the speakeasy. I see Brianna for haircuts and she’s fantastic—always does a great job. The speakeasy is equally great. They have excellent craft cocktails, good food, two family-friendly days each week, regular live music, and really fun events. We finally became members last November, and we’re glad to support Katia, Jay, and the whole team. They clearly work hard to bring something very special and unique to our community. Bonus: I love having my liquor locker. Even after all these months, I still stop to check on it every time we visit!

I’ve been going to Zack for a while now and won’t go anywhere else. If you’re looking for a barber who actually knows how to handle anything from a perfect scissor cut to a top notch skin fade, he’s your guy. Most places just give you a half ass fade and call it a day, but Zack takes his time to get the shape and texture perfect. The attention to detail is unmatched. Highly recommend!

We finally went to the Bearded Barber Speakeasy under new ownership. What a fun place! They had dueling pianos the night that we went. It was crowded but we were able to be seated on an elevated loveseat with a coffee table; very comfy and we could see the stage. We order the pizza margarita and it was very good. We will definitely be back!

We had a fun experience at the Speakeasy and Denisa made our evening memorable! The cocktails, food and ambiance are great, but the staff really made the visit special. Thank you and we will return again soon!!

Had my birthday here! Place is just Amazing. Very classy, elegant, and the best vibe. The live band was amazing and all the workers were amazing as well. The owner bought me a drink and his vibe was the whole place! Will be coming back many many times.

The Bearded Barber in Anthem feels like walking into your best friend’s living room — warm, welcoming, and full of heart. Katia and Jay have truly created something special here. You can feel their love and hard work in every detail, from the joyful staff to the cozy, speakeasy atmosphere. The music every night is fantastic, the Sunday brunch is perfection, and Chef Amber’s seasonal menu is always fresh, creative, and absolutely delicious. The handmade bars from England and Ireland add the perfect old-world charm. What really sets this place apart is how heartfelt their special events are — every gathering feels filled with love, laughter, and community. Whether it’s live music, themed nights, or private celebrations, Katia and Jay make sure everyone feels like family. This isn’t just a place to eat or grab a drink — it’s a home away from home.

This is by far one of the best speakeasy in North Phoenix area. I enjoy coming often as I live close by. But my review is about a special occasion, my daughter's Quinceañera which we celebrated at this venue. Not really sure where to start but, Katia and chef Amber where more than accommodating on the set up, menu, drinks and service. I have done events before, but not for my own. We started planning a bit late, but Katia literally jumped right in with suggestions and put the whole vision together. Chef planned a great reception and dinner meal ending it with a mini dessert table on the patio. Words cannot describe how the venue looked and how the team set up in a few hours. It was exactly what my daughter wanted and everyone who attended was extremely impressed with the venue , F&B, Decor, and service. Truly the best experience for celebration of any kind, considering privacy, but with the more relaxed home feel. Thank you to the whole Bearded Barber team for a very memorable Quinceañera for my daughter, family and friends.

It's a speakeasy! We went to a party at the Bearded Barber. We walked into an actual barber shop. Picked up the phone and gave the password. The "bookshelf" door opened and let us in. Inside was a full bar and restaurant with entertainment. Our private party was on the patio. We had our own bartender, tables, misting system, and catered dinner. The food was great. The cocktails were excellent. The service was friendly and very helpful. Would highly recommend.

It's a fun concept! A working barbershop out front; pick up the phone, give them the password (available online) and a secret door opens for a few seconds. The interior is nicely done in period style as are the waiter's uniforms. The drinks were good (the bar was very slow and it wasn't busy) and the menus was nice. Everyone enjoyed their dishes, sadly my salad was way overloaded with dressing, but some folks like it that way, sure wish I had ordered it with the dressing on the side! The breads were very nice, we had a few slices with a nice garlic herb butter and a fun ricotta plate, the coconut shrimp were run of the mill, obviously a frozen premade item, not surprised, they always are - but someone else ordered them. Huge potential and I hate to say anything negative, but they clearly have a wait staff problem; young kids who looked nice and were generally polite, but they really didn't have experience eating in a place like this, let alone the skills to wait fine dining tables. Not their fault, they just need a little coaching. I saw some inexcusable errors of judgement, but I too was an inexperienced waiter once very long ago. Definitely worth a visit, a great place to gather with friends! Note they have a dress code, it's definitely too nice to go in sweats or a t-shirt. They take reservations for larger tables and the interior, food and decor was a pleasure, as was the Sinatra singer on hand that evening
